On 21 and 22 November the office premises of the Association of Professional traders held the first meeting of the international project partners BESST (Cooperation in the field of education in business ethics and soft skills of traders in the European context) under the Leonardo da Vinci. The meeting was held with the participation of these partners: Linde Material Handling Slovak Republic sro (Slovakia), National Center for Informational Service (Pleven, Bulgaria), Economic Institute, Maribor, Economic Research and Entrepreneurship doo (Maribor, Slovenia), Industrie und Handelskammer Erfurt (Erfut, Germany). The project is focused on creating eLearning training course for traders, each of the partners create content of their focus. The main theme of the meeting was to start the project, clarification of project objectives, administrative roles and project content. The next meeting will take place in spring 2012 in Maribor.

Leonardo da Vinci is the EU Lifelong Learning Programme focuses on teaching and learning needs of all those in vocational education and training, other than at tertiary level and the institutions and organizations providing or facilitating such education and training. Contribute to increasing the attractiveness, quality and efficiency of vocational education and training, improving transparency, information and guidance systems, the recognition of competences and qualifications and strengthening the European dimension. Affects initiatives to promote further development, testing and implementation of common European tools for vocational education and training:
- Development and review of the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET)
- Realization of a European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the establishment of the Council conclusions of 2004 on quality assurance in vocational education and training.
